Library Cards are FREE for anyone who lives, works, owns property,
or goes to school in Chester County.
Apply for a Library Card In Person
Library card applications are available at Chester Springs Library. Or, you may download, print and bring a completed application to any Chester County Library; with your valid ID (i.e., address driver’s license with current address, or a bill with your name and address).

A parent or guardian must sign and show valid ID for application of a minor under 18 years of age.

Adults can complete and submit an application online for a library card.

Renew Your Card

Adult accounts expire every three years, but don’t throw away your card. This allows us to update any changes to your contact information.

You can renew your account in person at any Chester County Library. You will need your ID with current address.

When a Minor reaches 18 years of age they must reapply as an adult cardholder either in person, online or using the mobile app.
