MEET THE ELEPHANTS

Calling all elephant lovers! Meet real, live Asian elephants in this final part of a 3-part Zoom series lead by Teachers of Nature. 

This week is all about what the elephants at the Endangered Ark Foundation like to eat, focussing on nutrition as well. Did you know not all elephants like the same food, or even eat foods in the same way? 

 

 

A Zoom link will be emailed to participants 2 hours before the event. Please register separately for each part of this 3-part series.

We will meet outside if weather permits, and on Zoom if it is raining.

Bring your project and a lawn chair to the library. 

Please register so you will get a reminder, and a meeting link if necessary, 2 hours before the program. You can use the same link for each week.

Beginners to experienced participants are welcome. For beginners, size 5 yarn and the needles recommended on the yarn label are suggested.

A FROGGY CELEBRATION FOR MISS ARIEL

It's Miss Ariel's birthday this week!

Register to pick-up a grab and go craft featuring her favorite animal. A frog!

Kit will include all you need. One kit per participant.

When you register you can choose the day of the week you would like to pick-up.

BEAN BAG MYSTERY

Fun for families or school age children. 
Stop in the library beginning today and pick up a bag of supplies to plant 3 different kinds of beans and 1 mystery bean. Instruction will be included.
When your bean plant gets big enough you can plant it in the garden. 
Bean bags available while supplies last. No reservation required.

DROP-IN AND MAKE A Mother's Day GIFT

SATURDAY, MAY 8

10:30-2:00 PM

Registration is required. 

Suggested for ages preschool to high school. Older children who do not need an adult's help are welcome to work independently. 

Come to the library with an adult (preferably not who the gift is for) and make something special for the person you are honoring on Mother's Day.

We're keeping the project a secret, but we promise this will be a fun morning. Great for Dads and Kids, Grandpops and Grandkids or school age students. One gift per honoree.

This will be an outside event. Dress accordingly. In the event of rain, we will move indoors and call you to schedule a drop-in time.
