Eagle Scout Projects at the Chester Springs Library
Four Eagle Scout projects have been completed at the Chester Springs Library, 1709 Art School Road in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. The Library Board of Directors, Staff and Library Patrons greatly appreciate the planning and hard work by the Eagle Scouts that went into the completion of the four projects. The projects make the library a safer and more beautiful location.
Jordan Guistwhite, from Troop 83 installed a wooden fence and built a path from the lower lot to the library entrance.
Michael Sowinski, a member of Troop 216 built a patio out of pavers and installed a picnic table. He also laid crushed stone for a large area and completed a beautification project by fencing in the Air Conditioning unit.
Ryan McGuire, from Troop 158 put up Tyvek in the library’s basement. He also created and installed a sign documenting the history of the Library, which was originally built as an infirmary.
Cody Mifsud, from Troop 216 expanded the sidewalk with pavers and built a “patio” for parking bikes. Cody also landscaped the area and maintained the garden for the summer as a part of his high school graduation project.
